Shalom,

My name is Michal Fruchter, I was born in Israel and moved to NY when I was 8 years old. I
moved to Plainview when I was 12 years old and decided to stay to raise my own family. I live with my
husband Yosef and three beautiful children, Eli (25) Eric (21), and Ella (15).

I hold my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from C.W.Post. Thought the past
twenty years, I have worked in numerous long-lasting education positions in both early childhood and
Jewish Education. For the past six years, I had a home daycare called Love Bugs, which made my heart
fulfilled to watch all my buggies reach their special milestones.

My goal as the new principal is to strive for a curriculum that will provide children with the integration
of the Torah, Holidays, Customs, Hebrew Learning, Jewish History, and a sense of Jewish Pride. Through
interactive education, hands-on projects, and collaboration of family engagement, I hope we can achieve
this goal together as not only a school but as a family.

I want to wish all the PJC community a very Happy and Healthy New Year to come. I wish
everyone has lots of happiness, health, and much success in this upcoming year and every year to follow.
