Kadima is USY's program for pre-teens.
Kadima (forward in Hebrew) offers the opportunity to:

Meet new people and have fun

Stay engaged in Jewish life and learning once Hebrew school is over

Experience the joy of Judaism

Develop leadership and social skills
Activities include:

Recreation such as bowling or craft nights

Jewish holiday celebrations

Community service projects

Weekend conventions
-
Encampment (an end of summer sleepaway camp experience)

Tironim
Tironim in Hebrew translates to "Newbies"
Tironim is PJC's own youth program for students in grades 3 and 4. It provides an introduction to the wonderful world of Jewish Youth and Community.

USY
USCY's National Youth Movement
USY, USCJ’s youth movement, links Jewish teens to a network of USYers participating in 16 regions across North America. Plainview Jewish Center runs a USY division!

My name is Molly Meyerson and I am the president of USY this year. USY and the PJC Youth Committee are proud to present the Capture the Photo Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser taking place on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 11am-2pm. All funds raised from this event will support the Plainview Jewish Center. The registration fee is $36 per team.
